question about progess sway+tie bar combo
i was jus wonderin if this is worth buyin? so far i only have tein basic+spc camber+neuspeed strut bar. now should i go wit a rear strut bar first or the sway+tie bar combo from progress. and is the front sway bar important to change.
No. The progress bar has been known to break our endlinks(not all of them do). The tie bar is just bling on this car. I would just get an rsx sway bar. As far as what size rsx bar that depends on your driving style and future plans for the car.
As far as the front goes it is large enough.

damn so many problems gettin the progress sway bar...i might jus go to clubrsx and get the sway bar dere since it wont damage the endlinks. is there a differences between the rsx and rsx type s sway bar? how thick is progress and how thick is rsx/rsx type s? jus a thought...should i get the eibach anti-roll bar instead? or would that cause the same problem with the endlinks.

The 04 RSXs all have the same size rear bar (19mm). The 05s and 06s base models still have a 19mm where as the type-s models have a 21mm. The progress bar is 22mm and fyi a DC5R rear bar is 22mm as well.

I have had my progress sway/tie combo for over 3 yrs now and no problems. I say well worth the money. The difference I noticed was night and day. All these guys are saying they break the endlinks but have not had it personally happen. I have had mine for 3 yrs no problem. They are just hear say. But do want you feel is right with your money.

i would love to get the progress combo, but i'm also lookin into the hotchkis sway front and back also. i'm jus wonderin if the hotchkis sways would fit our cars if i got the 2002 rsx ones.
Don't know why some ppl complain about Progress bars. Obviously if you put on beefer bars you need stronger endlinks. I've had them front & rear along w/ Grey's endlinks for almost a year and a half now and the handling is incredible.

Mike didn't we sell them to you?
Immense handling improvement. Sold tons of these bars. Nothing but positive feedback on it.

These are the ones if I am not mistaken

Yup, those are them. Even though they are very good for the track, many customers have complained of how noise they are for the street. I spoke to Hotchkis last week; they said they'd be replacing the current rod end style for some with ball joints instead. I'll see if I can get a pic later.
here..
according to them, these are a lot quiter
