id like to know if i will need an spring compressor to install my eibach sportline kit springs that will be matched with koni yellow struts?
it'd be good to save on labor charges from shops so i can DIY the install with a buddy
car is an 03'

not really in need of one because there are different ways to change out springs I installed mine without one on my vic and my rsx

on mine, we just popped it off. the rears didnt even pop at all. so most likely you dont need one altho just to be safe its better to do it right.

On putting both lowering springs onto my car and stock springs back onto my friends's car, I didn't really need a spring compressor. I got one, used it on one, and determined it sucked. All I did was push down on the spring with one hand, and held it down while I undid the nut with the other. Still got both my eyes and nuts, so I think it worked alright...

yeah all you need is somone to push down as you put the bolt back on. no compresser needed.

Nope you don't need one, but my g/f's car has the exact same setup, and the front sits noticably higher!
