Indexing Question on a 01' sedan

Ok I have been reading the threads about proper indexing, so I am going to bring it back for the guy to check if it is indexed correctly.

My question is. How will he know how to index it properly? I read that the 2001's might not have the arrow to show where to index it properly? So how will the installer know how to index my springs and struts correctly?

Need to get rid of this anoyying noise ASAP.

Thanks

There might be a dimple on the spring cup. The arrow on the upper mounts should point to it and that should point outboard.

There's a pair of arrows, or painted dots, OR, paint them on yourself before you disassemble them.

Thanks a lot for the replies.

I reindexed, but I didnt have paint marks and only 1 arrow on a piece.
We tried our best to index it according to the pics given.

Sounds have reduced greatly, less springs noise, but I sitll get a small clunk sound when turning left and hitting small bumps. But the sounds has reduced greatly. Overall helped but not 100%.

Thanks again
