Hey guys, i'll be owning a 2001 civic coupe SI this weekend if everything goes good !!!!!
i'm from montreal , and let me tell you, it's because od this site that i'm buying it .. so many hot cars here !!!
anyhow, i'd like to you whats the best setup to have on this car --
first i want adjustables .. to be able to lower more then 2 inch ( i use to have 4 on my 4G )
or coilover kit .. what can i get ( best bang for the buck )
and ive seen many of you's on 18's ... can i ride low with 18's ??

Best setup depends on what your intended application is..
for compitition use, there are some specifics you should look for and some you should avoid.
For general street use.... its hard to pick a bad setup.

Speaking as someone who used to live in Montreal I 1) know how bad the roads are and 2) know that you get a lot of snow and therefor they use road salt on the streets.
I recommend the KW Coilovers for a few reasons.
1) They won't rust out at all...in fact they're guaranteed not to rust
2) very adjustable
3) Distributor is in Canada so you don't have to pay lame *** duty charges or anything to get 'em shipped.

There's a thread in the Canada East section for Montreal based members if you haven't already seen it.
So anyway...yes, you can run 18's if you want to. A good set of coilovers aren't going to be cheap but if you plan to keep them on all year round you best get a good quality set that can handle salt and crappy roads.
