camber vs toe

ive been reading around other forums.

anyway, i read an arguement talking about if you align your toe then your camber does not matter and will not wear out your tires. i already know thats bullshit. but, wtf does toe have anything to do with the car ride. is that part of the alignment when i go get my car aligned? thanx.

Boilermaker1 is a splendid one to behold

toe is what they align. it straightens the tires to the road so they look like | |
and if you align the toe then camber doesn't matter AS MUCH. Toe eats tires much faster than camber does, so the arguement isn't bullshit.

People who dont get alignments tend to blame camber for their excessive tire wear when the real problem is toe... Simply because they can "see" the amount of camber they have. un like toe.

Yup, my alignment slipped a bit and I could tell toe wear on my tires. Damn slippage.
