you must have really small fingers. well... i have neuspeed sports with a 1.75 in the front and 1.5 in the back. i have about a 1 finger gap all around. so im guessing that your gonna have no gap.

well you're not sposed to judge the spring when its off the setup, if thats what you did.

it depends on the spring rate. how stiff the spring is, for lack of better words. the springs can be bigger but softer and still give you a drop.

ha! i had those springs before arospeeds. they were really shitty on my sedan. sagged like crazy int the rear leaving no finger gaps at all they were officially made for coupes so you should be pretty good.

Yea, aftermarket springs can be longer than your stock when not installed and still give you a drop. They just "give" more I guess is a good way to say it.

spring physics

Look over the "k" variables, it's called the spring coefficient and measures spring stiffness. That page is actually for spring oscillation, but you get the idea.

no......I wasn't arguing your point, sorry if it reads that way. I was just saying what I actually read on a box that has my g/f new springs in it about don't judge the height of the new spring to what the o.e.m spring looks like when fully expanded off the vehicle. like someone else said it is also not a good thing to do it that way as you can't tell by the height what the rate is either it could be taller to be softer to give more flex. but will compress more as the spring rate is lower. i think thats how it works....

your drop shouldnt be calculated by how much finger gap you have left but how much distance was eliminated from the hub to body.
