rear sway bar LX
rear sway bar LX
Anyone think this would work for lx owners looking to bolt on a rear sway bar? I have seen the diy for the lx without using the progress mount kit and these tabs look similar to the ones that were custom made for the diy.

it may work...u may wanna pm that person or measure up your own controll arm and also make sure the hole is the right size. i think most people would just go w/ the progress cuz its bolt-on.
it shows the dimensions on the site so u may be able to mock up a cardboard cutout and try it.
hey looked at it again....good find....they have undrilled brackets too.
u kno how much they are?

Those look like they would definately fit. Although the ones without the pre-drilled hole might be better since you can drill out the hole you need to. Our cars are metric, so I doubt that the 3/8" hole will be the right size.
I have the Progress Mounting kit and it's not perfect. It takes up a lof of space. It prevents you from using aftermarket endlinks. It rusts up on you. It's heavier than those simple tabs welded on to the lower control arms. It might move around if you don't bolt it up tight. It has pockets that gather dirt. I might actually get rid of those brackets and go with these tabs.
Good find!
