tein with koni

when i bought my car it was SLAMMMMMED, and the guy prolly. guy springs from pepboys and put them on, the ride was so bad that evertime i'd go over a bump my radio would turn off. anyway i just put tein springs on, about a week ago and im thinking to myself, my shocks are prolly. fkd up from the 1st set of springs, if i were to get new shocks, would koni shocks go good with tein springs?

yes they go well with the koni inserts...make sure to get the right size inserts for your struts tho cuz 01 and then some have 50 mm's, while 02+ or so have 55 mm struts...the tein stechs or other springs will go well with koni's but get a camber kit too...u can get a full front and rear off ebay for less than 100

I'd recommend against it STRONGLY. Your front springs will be over 500lbs-foot while the HP Blues are only valved at 350. This means when you hit a bump, your spring's stiffness will bottom out the valve in the struts. You'll be voiding any sort of warranty on them, and they WILL blow earlier, how much earlier depends on how much you drive it and what you drive over. Your car will also bounce around almost as if you kept your stock struts. when ppl get the blues are usually because they are on a budget. Save up and do it right now, or you'll regret it later.

The Yellows are excellent but expensive. They also have an adjustable perch. I'd say go with the yellows if you have the money to blow, and the kybs if you don't. Forget about the HP Blues. right now i also have stech w/ KYB AGX along with spcs. good enough ride for me.

uhh... check your bushings on the control arms (the triangle thing that holds your disc brake/knuckle **** up in the front. If you're REALLY feeling crazy **** in the front, may be your shocks; but, there is a good chance that it's just your bushings too. /shrug, alot cheaper to fix bushings too, so definitely worth that 1/2 hour of removing the tires and looking to see if the rubber aint broke.
