I know konis are what people would suggest for Groundcontrols, but I just want to know if there would be any problems fitting the GCs with tokico DSPECs or the kyb AGXs? If GCs fit fine with stock shocks, that means basically anything that is the same size as stock shocks would be fine too?

Konis are the only ones I trust to be firm enough for the spring rates.

i dont see why you'd have a problem putting them on DSpecs. they're replicas of stock shocks/struts. you just have to buy GCs for a 2001-2002.

so they are replicas of 01-02 shocks/struts. That means I shouldn't buy GC's for 03+ since they are made like the 01-02. Cool, thanks.

yeah cuz tokico made them with a 50mm housing unlike 03+ which have 55mm housing.

When in doubt buy the shocks, get them, measure them, then buy the GCs. Call GC direct,tell them what you got..... You may need a hybrid kit with 50mm sleeves and 03 upper mounts or some **** like that.

hybrid kit? you mean GC has applications for a hybrid? Or are you talking about GC having some term with hybrid? I'm thinking that GC should have something that fits tokicos fine especially for tokicos that are meant for an 01-02 civic? Anyways, I'll take your advice boilermaker, just get the shocks first, which I already purchased just today. If I have anymroe questions this thread might pop up again later on. Thanks.

what he means is that GC will do a custom order. so if say you wanted springs with a different spring rate, they can do it.

hey xenin, did you have to use 01 top mounts for the DSPECs since they are made fore 01-02 and you have an 03?

let me know, i can get you the D specs or koni's. I think the D specs should work fine and would take less fabrication to put in aka "almost none"
