Strut bars: Solid piece vs adjustable
Ok i know the solid piece bars are much better. but what i want to know is if anyone has taken an adjustable bar and welded in one place so that it becomes a solid piece? and if so, how difficult was it and how has it held up?

One piece is always better than many pieces. And you usually can't weld the adjustables because the endplates tend to not be the same material as the cross bar.... besides that, if you don' t have it lined up right when its welded, it isn't gonna fit (you can't weld it while mounted in the car).
So in short, for $100 just buy the neuspeed one. This should be a done deal answer by now.

The rear bar for all intents and purposes is cosmetic. The shocks bolt to the floorpan. Right behind the gas tank. That area is more than reinforced.

They balance the handling of the car front to back. They're for fine tuning, not setting the handling of a car.
