Tokico Hp
yesterday i had tokico hp shocks installed on my 01 civic ex, have neuspeed sportline springs with spc camber kits, really smooth ride, but!! since the install I'm getting this noise, not popping but tapping from passenger side, a little from driver side, the guy who installed them, been installing shocks, struts, springs for quite some time doesn't understand the noise, some have told me to wait for a week, sometimes the rubber gets pinched, some have said alignment, diddn't have the noise with stock shocks, any help would be greatly appreciated, noise is driving me crazy

Front or Rear. If its front maybe try some White lithium grease between the top of the strut and the body. If rear you might have the springs in a little out of allignment. I have had both and it makes a noise like you are describing.

I'd double check that all the bolts are tight in the engine bay that hold the strut to the body adn the hat to the spring.
I had that noise once and that is what it was.

you should have it alligned anyway but thats not what I'm talking about. The spring can get rotated on the shock body and when it compresses the end of it taps the small depression where it is supposed to rest. I had my whole right LCA off once trying to figure out what it was then a Tech friend of mine grabed the spring and gave it a real hard twist and the problem went away.
