Neuspeed Strut Tower brace
I layed it down in the engine bay for a check on how it looks, and it is not very close at all to fitting? DO you think they sent me the wrong part? The holes are like 1in-2in off if i line up the passenger side?

Ding ding!
It doesn't work unless it fits like a glove. Sloppy fits have no tension --->no stiffness

ok....and in the instructions is says 2002-up " Bend clutch reservior bracket forward as nessasary to clear tie-Bar. NOTE: bend bracket down if A/C hose touches bottom side of tie bar"....my deal is that the bar is pushed hard up against the fire wall? Is that normal?

im with boilermaker on this one if it don't fit don't force it because you could end up breaking something and end up paying for that to get fixed, just exchange if for a different one and see if that one fits or not. better in the long run

boilermaker was not saying that it doesn't fit..he was telling me that its supposed to be tight because if it was an easy fit..it wouldn't be a strong part

You need to jack up the front end just like the neuspeed directions say to. When you do, lots of stuff moves around and the bar should fall in with a little wiggling. If it has directions for the 2001+ civics then 99% of the time you got the right bar. It is a tight fit, it will not go in with the car on the ground. I can't see it being 2" off, but there will be one hole that will not go unless you lift up the car and push a little but. DO NOT use a hammer of any kind, you'll mash the strut hat threads.

mine fit fine WITH the car on the ground. yes, i placed my bar across to see how it looks. you should notice that the strut bolts are angled in slightly, so that when you line up the bar on top of the bolts, it will be slightly off, but if you place it such that the bottom lines up, it should be closer to perfect. putting mine on, we did it with the car on the ground, and just had to nudge one side of the bar (hit it with my hand) and it popped on in (probably because of the slight angle).
