I am pretty sure you just unbolt the two or three strut nuts, they are one pointed bolts, and depending on what kind of strut bar you have will depend on whether you have to take all three off or only two.
Yeah so to answer your quesiton just unscrew them put the bar on put the nuts back on and your done. Took me like 3-5mins.
You also have to make sure the bar fits right and make sure the mounting points sit flat and flush, i was lucky and did not have to do this.

also, some people(like me) have had to jack up the front end of the car to relieve tension off the strut in order to place the bolts in the holes for the strut bar. Its not a hard install at all....

I was gonna come in this topic and complain about how I hate 3 peice bars, and that they didn't have one for out cars... then I realized... mine is one peice, its neuspeed.
Now I'm gonna bitch about it not being 3 point. I WANT A 3 POINT MOUNT BAR!

ok here are the pics. the 2 little silver screws are in the end of it. it came disaseembled. so like i said. sorry for the apc part. what can i do? anyways, one of those silver screws goes in clockwise and the other counterclockwise. and then the left and right attachment that goes on the sruts. ok so i know how the attachment is going to take place and where. i think my clutch cylinder was a little in the way so im going to have to adjust it. if i unscrew the 3 bolts won't the whole setup under the car just collapse??? sorry if im asking a dumb q.
any ways here is the pic.

sorry for the hairy feet. i needed an eagle eye shot. and why does it matter if a strut bar is 3 point or one? and do you really think this thing will break under tension?

ok, ran into some probs. i tried for 10 miutes to get one of the screws loosened enough to put the black mounts on. it wouldn't budge at all. i will try WD-40 later this weekened. and now, im also wondering how tight am i supposed to make the connections? i know as tight as i can with the black mounts, but the screws that connect the mounts to the metal bar and the silver ones on the sides of the metal bar. im thinking of doind the jacking up of the car to help me out. how high? just to get it off the ground? don't mean to post ***** this one but its updates. help! thanx

The difference between 3 peice and one peice. Is basically the rigidity it gives to the car. The 3 peice allows the bar to flex alot more, thus not doing its job too well. THe one peice is much better at providing all it can.
THe difference between your bar, also the one peice bar, which are two point mounting bars, when compared to the 3 point mounting bar, is that they only mount to the struts obvously (sp?). Where as the 3 point mounting bar mounts to the fire wall as well... providing much more support to the bar, keeping it much more solid, and less flexing, thus allowing the bar to work to the full extent...

yeah so i got a half inch ratchet with a 14mm LONG socket. my short one would not fit. so the drivers side wouldn't budge still, till i put all my 140 pounds of weight on it
and then it unscrewed. the other two were suprisingly easy, the other side didn't even take any strength. i don't get it. but i put it on and tightened all the stuff up. i ran into an issue when my little clutch fluid cylinder was in the way of the metal rod i was putting on. i move it and installed the bar. i will post pics up tomorrow. was a 10 min job after i finally got the screws. thanx guys!

It depends on which year you have, the resevoir is in different places. My neuspeed bar came with a nut to screw the resavoir out of the way, but that was for earlier models. I just slid myne out of the way.

ok, here are the strut bar pics installed, the second one shows my resevior stuck between the strut bar and the brake resevior. it don't move so its ok. thanx for the help again.

this thing was rattling until i tightened the hell out of it. its tense now.
heres the resevior

There's also another hole like 1 inch below it where you can screw the reservoir and the bar will pass over it. That way the reservoir won't contact the bar and cause unnecessary stresses to the plastic cap and will be leveled and look stock.
