whats the largest tire i can put on a 18" rim and still drop 2"

225/40/18 but i would suggest 215/35/18 thats what i ran. I ran a 225/40/18 at one point but it rubs when you turn badly

You can squeeze by with a 215/40/18. Might rub every once and a while, but not that bad.

my friend has ''19s on his civic and has a drop of 2.5 inches at least. it doesnt really matter what size rim you put on (as long as its not 20s) but you'll just have to drop the sidewalls of your tires.

I'm dropped 2.5 and running 215/35/18 with no problems what so ever. You could probably get away with the 215/40/18 with your drop.
