is there any of you guys on here with the d series motor with the 5lug conversion setup?? need to know why is needed. need some advice...

There's no point. If you're doing it for wheels, buy 4 lug wheels, there's hundreds of them. If you're doing it to be cool, there's hundreds of better things to waste money on.
I don't think the splines match either.
