Split sleve on GC Coilovers
im not sure about he rubber split sleve on he ground contol coilovers. most coilover systems ive seen have the adjustable part siting one the shock mount. with the GC's iot has that rubber split sleve to sit on. im not sure on how well this would hold. im thinking about going and buying a pipe and making my own mounts. anybody have opinions, or better yet pics on the intall of thier GC's. I need infor fast seeing as im doing this tomarrow morning. and plese not comments on how the ride is or anythign. just some split sleve help/ opinions.

WTF are you talking about? the lock collar? its 6061 aluminum and its just intended to be a one hand operation (which it isn't).

I think your talking about the spacers. Not sure though cause I don't have GC's, but my kit came with 3 different size split sleeve spacers to accomodate for different size struts. All they do is center the threaded sleeve on the strut and make a snug fit.
