ran into problems with my neuspeed x-brace

I installed my x-brace but ran into a wierd problem, everytime I rev my engine to 6000 rpm and let go of the pedal,my engine makes a wierd scraping noise? did I tighten the bolts too tight or did I not even tighten them enough? I didn't use a torque wrench but I think I torqed the bolts to 76 lb with my foot?
It also sounds like its my transmission, I don't know? thats why i'm here.
thanks

Check if the exhaust is rubbing it or something else coming in contact with the brace. I had no problems putting mine in. There is about 1/2 inch clearance between the pipe(OBX header, OEM cat, 2.5in midpipe, OEM muffler) and the bar.

if you are planning to get the progress sway bar combo you might run into the same problem as well.

the progress sway bar's bushing mounting bracket has to be cut for clearence of the bolt's that go in the sub frame.
