Hard hits

HI guys,
I recently just adjusted the height of my rear ground control coilovers up and for some odd reason the back passenger spring makes hard hitting noises for every bump I go over. It seems to be getting worse. Any suggestions? Thanks much.

maybe the nut on the top of your shock is not on tight...

Yeah, details. If you raised them, unless you're still on stock shocks, you shouldn't be hitting the bumpstops. What it might be is the poly seat that ground control supplies, it doesn't fit in the shock hat very well. Just a thought, but we need more info.

I still have my stock shocks on, I had the springs on for a year and a half, and it never made the noise. I took off the tire and turned the spring to adjust the height. Now every bump i go over at 20mphs or more sounds like large rocks hitting metal. Did I adjust them incorrectly? Is their more to it than just taking off the tire? Thanks

did you raise or lower? if you lowered it, the nut on the top mount probably came loose since the spring is under less compression.
