burning out ruined my suspension?

ok so today i noticed that when i try to accelerate fast from a dead stop the car runs great, but makes one or two popping sounds, could it be my shocks? it could be some stuff i have in the trunk but i doubt it cuz it sounds like its coming from the front passanger side.
what could this be? thea xles are shot up?

passenger side... okay, so do two things to check the axles: 1. turn the car to the right, till it won't turn any more, with the windows down and see if you hear a clicking sound. 2. put the car in reverse and turn the steering wheel all the way to the left and do a circle, again with the windows down and listen for a clicking.

If it is a blown strut, push down hard (don't dent your car) on the car in that corner, right above the tire. The car should travel back up past its initial position and come back down to the initial position where it was before you pushed it. If it oscillates (goes up and down a couple of times) you certainly have a blow strut. This is only a simple way to check and by the time this happens your struts are beyond dead.

I still gotta try reversing to check if it pops like that and also gonna trying removing all my stuff in the trunk.
