H&R Sports *true* lowering measurement?

H&R Sports on an 05 Civic LX Sedan 5-speed. H&R Website says 1.3" lowering. Tirerack says ~1.75"

Who has these installed and how much do they truly lower the car? I want a moderate drop of 1.3", not 1.75".

Thanks.

1.75" will look a lot better. 1.3 looks more stock. drop it low.

Sorry, I have Goldlines I couldnt tell ya.

I want 1.3" lowering because of the pseudo-stock look, and less compromised suspension travel issues these cars have.

I'd say stick to what the manafacturer states. Or perhaps look at the Eibach Prokit or Sportlines.

check out my Member'sride gallary for pix

When I first dropped it, it was pretty damn low, but then after about 3weeks (max)
it settled down to about 1.3~1.5''

It doesn't look that low...

I have the H&R's installed (I have had them on for almost 2 years now) they settle at closer to 1.75" not the 1.3" as they claim. Get a camber kit with them.

Is the H&R a bad spring for the car? It's going on a LX Sedan. I wanted a spring that was a mild drop, not a slam. 1.3 = mild. 1.75 is approaching a slam.

^^^ If u're gonna be riding on rims bigger than 16'', You'll feel lots of bumps, but It is pretty smooth with 15's

It's suposed to be 1.3. But if you read on the site, they say that they are not for EX Sedan... maybe it's the weight that make these drop to 1.75...
