taking turns compared to other whips
yea so i was at skool today and these people were talking about taking turns fast. i told them that the civic is pretty good on turns and they could take them better as opposed to some other cars, n i said thats why they use them in autocross (the kid said they use them cuz they are "poor" rigt) welll neways are civics nice at takin turns?
he saidhe can take me in a turn with his truck meanwhile he is the one that flipped over his escalade?

You can tune the 7th gen to handle quite well... but its not going to be enough to win STS vs an 89 si... 
and you'll easily out corner a truck, assuming yo dont have crap tires.
as far as the kid who says people run them because they are poor... thats just stupid. people run certin cars in certin classes because that car happens to fit the rules of that class best and gives the driver an advantage over other cars. Not because they are poor. it just so happens that Vairous civics fit a couple of classes, STS being one of them, so people run them.

Rep Power: 811 Stock civic takes turns horribly! I can barely turn faster than 15mph and even then feels like the car is pulling and ready to roll over. Put on some springs and sway bars and it improves ALOT. Racing seats help too cause it keeps you from falling to one side.

its the stock tires, change those out and the car handles completly different.

Rep Power: 0 From 1-10, I give my car an 8.5 on handling, maybe even a 9. I dunno, I'm just extremely satisfied with the way my car handles. All I have is Neuspeed Sports on OEM shocks, 205/40 Kumho tires, and a $20 front strut bar and no matter how fast I'm going on a turn or curve the car doesn't seem to lose control... I'm basing this on street/freeway/mountain driving since I've never taken my car to AutoX before. However I'm sure that the EK and EG's will outhandle any 7thgen anyday...

Rep Power: 607 lol.........a 2nd gen eclipse was on my *** yesterday morning and we were getting on the interstate and there is a big swooping turn to get on the interstate. I have tein ss and I am on steelies and mud/snow tires and i was doing 75 through the turn. The tires were squealing.......needless to say, i lost him.
