? for people w/ neuspeed sport springs...
? for people w/ neuspeed sport springs...
Hi !
Now that I have new rims and tires, I need a drop.
I will install myself a set of Neuspeed Sport springs
but I would like to know if I really need a spring
compressor to install the neuspeed sport. I know
that I can remove the stock springs safely but do
I have to compress the Neuspeed ? Are they shorter
than the stock ones ?
Thanks,
Philippe.

Actually the springs arent shorter then stock until you compress them. Theyre roughly the same length uncompressed. You dont need a spring compressor, you just have to muscle them down enough to get the nut on.

u dont need at all. Stock are not compressed that high, so it wont fly out and kill someone, and u dont need to put on, just on backs, u need to push down a little to put on the top nut, have someone help you...and thats it.

^their spring compressers are a pain in the a$$ to use.. just try to put it on without it..
But yeah the neuspeeds are actually the same length(if not slightly longer) than the oem springs. like others have said, you should be able to push it down far enough to be able to get the nut on. with a friends help of course, i tried doing it by myself and it didnt work at all...
