I wanted to wait for the omnipowers, but:
1) I got a very good deal on rear koni's from a member here
2) getting neuspeed race springs for an even better deal.....
now all i need is to do is buy the front inserts then im set and i havent spent 300 dollar total before buying the fronts....

Konis are designed to work optimaly at any ride height... That being said, there still is such a thing as to low.. as Bottoming out the shock will destroy it. and Koni will not warrenty a shock thats been bottomed out.
Why Konis? Simply because for the price they are a Very good performing damper. Infact to get a better damper you'll have to get some pretty expensive dampers (Say $800 per corner Motons?)
and Coilovers are not by default the best Or even a better Idea.. all coilovers give you is the convenience of having some one else decide how your car handles. Not all that great a thing if you are trying to get every last 10th out of it. But decent for general street use.
