noise from springs
noise from springs
why is it that whenever i turn the wheel you hear a clinking noise and then the alignment gets pulled that way until you turn the opposite way.
okay, so i changed from ground control coilovers because of the noise when turning... to skunk 2 springs....and... the noise is still there.? i dont get it.

If i can't figure why my car is creaking or anything. I just take a can of wd40 or some type of automotive grease and just start painting it from were ever the sound is coming from. Give that a shot.

coil bind..
pretty much the uppermounts arent doing its job and isnt spinning freely so the springs are trying to. thats one reason why i didnt like the ground controls...
You can try greasing the upper mounts or maybe even try to fit [stock] bearings on it.

this may seem like a dumb reply, but if the arrows on your upper mount are not facing outward the spring will move around when you turn. That will give you a nice clank noise, try removeing your your whole assy and aligning them agian, and make sure the spring is aligned properly also
