hey everyone..strut bar info

i saw that a member on here w/ a coupe got a RSX rear uppper strut.. im guessing it would fit sedan too(i know bolts are same etc.im just wondering about the frame...thats in close proximity to it..

also.. would the front upper RSX fit.. im like 97% sure im just checkin thanx

one last thing ive only found cusco rear upper does any other brand make a rear upper?si/rsx/civic.

thanx peeps.. i used to have a DC and never felt anything but now ima kinda bored so i figured what the hell.. and also i can use rear upper to hol my box too.lol

i like cusco rear but front idk if itl clear my AEM SRI...
so im thinking neuspeed.. but id really like for em to match up.

http://www.neuspeed.com/products/product_details.asp?app=38|RT&type=12&ltype=ns_imp ort&p_id=1032

could that be modified to work where does it attach RSX-civic have same cross members or should

skunk 2 makes front and rear for our cars but.... does anyone have em? what do they look like.. and they make rear lower..
Civic 2001-2002 522-05-1930 $164.33 522-05-1932 $202.40

thanx

tanabe only makes front..

neuspeed only front

anyone else?

basically ina nut shell it looks like w/ skunk 2 i can get eferything but is it really worth like 500$ to get a Front upper/Rear upper/Rear lower???will i even notice anything.im thinking since i have the tein flex which is made to be felt with the extra stiffening that it'l make the car feel 10x better?

For the rear upper, if it fits the coupe, then it'll fit the sedan. I had a generic rear upper strut bar for my car, was labeled for both the 01+ Civic and RSX. Spoon also makes rear uppers.

RSX rear upper from Neuspeed won't fit though - I test-fitted one a while ago.

I thought the rear upper was in a different place in coupe/sedan? In sedan it's visible in the trunk.

Yes it's in a different place and is accessed differently but overall installation is the same.

Rear upper strut bar manufactures = Carbing( the best one ), Cusco, Mr.Alex, Spoon Sports etc.

I thought grey has dc5 specific spoon sports front strut bar , but not sure,

im thinking skunk 2 cause they make all the bars and id have all the same.. is skunk2 a good company tho..also TELLY when i put on reAR UPPER.. how far fromt the "back of back seats" is the bar located? im guessing its dead center between the 2 bolts and then straight across? im j/w cause i was going to make some clamps w/ rubber insides to tighten on rear upper and firmly mount my box ;-)

thats the whole reason behind wanting rear upper

ya just pull back the side carpet when you fold down the seats. It's right there.
