Konis only come in inserts. You have to measure your strut housing. Konis come in either 50 or 55mm and different civics have different shocks and Honda didn't arrange it by year.

Koni's for our car only come in inserts. Unless he is selling his modified strut with the koni already inside, then it should only be an insert. Now, he could be selling it with the insert inside a stock strut, but koni doesn't sell that. If he is selling it with a modified OEM strut then it should fit any 7thgen.

You'd either have to get the holes enlarged, remove the inserts and put them in your strut houisings or get the right steering knuckles. The latter is not worth it.
