Rep Power: 0 Eliminating car rubbing the front tires...
I have a quick Q,
I have just dropped my car with ground controls, and my drivers side rubs while cornerning moderate due to body roll. Which is normal, but for example, I rolled the fenders in the rear to aliviate that problem, however what can I do to the front?
do you guys remove the liners? I have 215/45/17... what do the guys with the 18's and 19's do? - I want my car to be tucked a little bit
Thanks

Rep Power: 0 i got 18's and a 1.75" drop in the front. i'm running 215/40/18 tires and the front is almost tucked. i don't rub at all, or maybe i never noticed if i did. can you feel it rubbing while you're inside the car or is there a loud noise when it does rub?

Rep Power: 310 how low are you dropped on the GCs? i had 215/45/17 and had coilovers with rubbing problems on all 4's. , had to raise it so when body flex occurs, the front wheel doesnt rub against the fender wells. as for the rears, had to adjust the rear camber kit so it sits a little negative.
solutions:
1) raise the car so you have at LEAST half finger gap between tire and fender.
2) if you dont have aftermarket shocks, it may help body flex with its stiffer design then the stock shocks
3) strut bars
4) different tire size (205/45/17 or 215/40/17) theirs others to choose depending on what you really want.

Rep Power: 393 I used to rub with my 215-40-18s on d2 coilovers. I remember everytime i turned the wheel all the way it would make this horrible noise. I was too lazy to raise it so I just stopped turning the wheel all the way =p.
One thing that helped slightly though was tucking in the liner(instead of removing it). I had to take off a clip or two but it worked and didnt make that noise as often... Pretty much the best thing to do is just raise it untill it doesnt rub anymore.
