air ride
thinking about buying some air cylinders for my 02 ex.....heres my question.. i've seen some that have air ride and their front end does'nt seem to look low and there is still some tire gap....i don't wanna waste my money and not be able to tuck all four wheels.... is that as low as they'll go? or is that where they stop?..... i have coilovers and the front is all the way down(still tire gap) my back is tuckin a lil and i still have maybe 2" i can drop it in the rear....would i be wasting my money?

I liked mine, and if I wasn't selling the car I would still have them on.
Mine were strut bags though and not cylinders, with the new suspension setup on the 7th gens I haven't found anyone that has gotten cylinders to work right. They break very easily, and most companies don't even sell them.
There are ways you could get the front down but you would have to do some cutting and welding...
by the way mine are still for sale

with the rear up it would, but when you slam the rear it brings the front up more
Mine also was a daily driver, and I didn't have a backup.
If you do the setup right you'll never have a problem
only time I did was I didn't run a line right and it rubbed, but after that no problems

If Air Ride Technologies will ever get their kit done (yeah, they've told me approximate dates twice, only to push it back because they say they are busy with other stuff), you're supposed to be able to drop it lower than anything out there. That being said, how long do you want to wait till they get around to it. Oh, and it's going to be a direct bolt on strut kit.

there's a pic of mine with the rear up, and you'll be able to see the front is farther down.
If you were to put a body kit on, or already have one, you wouldn't want it to go much lower in the front.

How well does your air bag suspesion handle potholes & other road conditions?
Are they any god for racing with?

I found it was more to do with the profile of the tires you're running. It was a little bumpy with 17's but when I put the steelies back on it road really nice.
Big things are nice b/c when you get to a dip where your exhaust is going to scrap, just hit a switch and don't worry about it.
Its a little stiffer than factory so it would handle a little better, but I never pushed it too far.
The air ride tech crew did a special on speedvision to show they could get better lap times in every car they tested after air ride had been installed.

i've ran Brisland cylinders for over 1 year now daily driven to college every single day and to work. They were even used before i got them and have no problems. The Brisland cylinders are way more bigger than the little AIM or SMC cylinders, see if you can find some. They also tuck about 1 inch in the front with 17's and regular tire size.
