Honestly sleeved coilovers really aren't the way to go if you're not going full. If you need a drop, maybe you could get by on a set of Neuspeed or H&R springs on stock shocks while you save for a full coilover set?

I agree. Also, if you are set on going with a sleeve style coilover, at least get a name brand one like skunk2, ground control or omni.

PM me if you have any questions.

if you want ground control, I've got the rear for $50, then if you get front springs you can even the ride height out (to your likings) no matter where the front sits

I can only see a couple of possible problems with the setup your looking at.

1. Questionalbe spring rates.
Most companys that sell a sleved spring setup use the same spring rate Front and rear, as well as they dont really test the car on those spirngs... So this can lead to handling issues if you are trying to tune the car for handling. But if its just for a drop, you'll probably never notice. The other issue with this though is ride quality, or Ride stiffness. the springs may have too High of a rate for you're likeing.

2. you're putting these on OEM shocks.
if you put these springs on the Stock shocks I can Guarantee that within a year (probably sooner) your ride quality will be ****, thanks to blown shocks. But this will not be because the spring is "Sleved", but rather because of the spring rate and the ride height you set the car at. So, If you really want to get these springs I Highly recomend getting better shocks. Tokico Hp's will do if you don't drop the car too low, otherwise KYB AGX's would be a bit better. Koni's however may be your best choice, as they are designed to work in any part of the shocks stroke range (As long as you dont bottom them out).

Finally, a Spring and shock combo is not a bad thing. Infact a true "Coilover" is actually a rareity in the racing world, you typically only see them on cars sponsored by a Coilover company.... most of the people I talk to that run at the nationals run Konis with Ground Controls, Though Motons and Penske shocks are pretty common too. (Jic, Tein, Buddy Club Ect... are actually Very rare to find on nationally preped cars.)

Ground Controls are your best bet. The skunk2's squeek and have a poor rating amongst most customers. If you want, PM us for pricing. As well, a good alternative is Tein S tech springs:

$165 Shipped at our store.
