Installing springs on stock struts

Sorry if this is a re-post but I need to know something.

I'm going to be installing Neuspeed springs pretty soon, and I hear you don't need a compressor. Is this true? I don't want a spring flying and killin me or anything. Please help! Also if there is any DIY's on spring installing for our 7th gen's please link me.

It can be easily found by searching and no you don't need a spring compressor. Just follow mex's DIY. and again, please search next time.
