Why is it that cars' rear shocks go before the front? I mean you always see old civics, accords, tauruses, etc. all with the back end sagging. The springs are usually harder in the back, but the front has a lot more weight. Is it just that the design differs from front to rear that causes the sagging?
im guessing because when the car accelerates, the front lifts up while the force is pushed down in the rear. iuno, just an guess. but the heavy subs and equipment in the trunk is possible.
but i always thought the fronts get shot before the rears =\

Weight over the front is pretty invariant. Its the engine and whatever % of the body weight that the front supports. The rears take fat asses in the back seat and whatever you can throw in the trunk. Its not so much that they get overloaded, its just the variation in weighting that causes the problems.
