The Function7 rear lower control arms are only 1.2lbs each, while the SPC lower control arms are 1.44lbs each.

Check out this thread for more info. and pics of the SPC ones: SPC Rear Lower Control Arms

Check out this Ebay page for more info. and pics of the Function7 ones: Function7 Rear Lower Control Arms

I have the Funciton7 rear lower control arms. They look sweet! I'll be installing them and writing a DIY soon. Stay tuned...

We noticed you guys were discussing our arms, and figured we'd give you the details on our product so you can make an informed decision.

1. All the materials we use are batch certified and each arm (we use 7075 aluminum, 15%-18% stronger than 6061) is individually serialized/bar coded. This gives us the ability to track each arm, the material batch, manufacturing date, which lets us support our product better and also offer a lifetime warranty on the arms.

2. Our arms come with entrapment-type polyurethane bushings (from Energy Suspension) with our own CNC'ed aluminum bushing inserts. This means that no stress-causing set screws are used to hold the bushing in place.

3. The arms are designed with full-width bushing journals to make the arm as strong as possible. Although we start out with a larger block of aluminum that way, we "cut out" even aluminum to give lighter, stronger arms.

4. We designed the arms with aluminum bushing inserts to get around the rust factor. This means that your suspension bolt will not sieze up in the bushings and makes the long term maintainence easier.

5. Our designs are 100% CAD designed then passed through proper structural analysis. The prototypes were then installed on a few race and street cars for an extended test.

6. We manufacture all our arms in-house (right here in Mesa, AZ) on our high-precision aerospace CNC mill. Our materials, etc all come from US suppliers to ensure the highest quality.

Because we make our arms right here in the USA, and with better materials, and we start out with larger blocks of aluminum, our arms cost a little more than our competitiors. The current street price is $199.99 + shipping.

Please feel free to email/message us if you have any other questions about our products.

Thanks!

both look good, but function7 doesn't come with a socket to take off the 3 10 star bolts that Honda put on. SPC does. You guys might want to include that.

no it isn't. sockets come in 6 or 12 star. The honda bolt is 10 star. Trust me, you need a special socket.

Yes they are universal but really meant for our EG/EK/DC2R customers since we offset the mounting holes to accomodate the weight difference of the arms. The endlinks are $39.99 a pair. However for customers who have purchased our arms, they are $34.99.

Thanks

Our universal endlinks are ductile steel (so they dont snap under shock loads) and come with a 10mm x 1.5mm threaded shaft/threaded hole and gives about 1-1.2" of length adjustment to help you neutralize the pre-load in the sway bar. We have mounting hardware that lets it fit 8mm and 10mm mounting holes. All mounting hardware are grade 12 socket (allan/hex) bolts that meet or exceed current Honda specifications.

The ball joints have brass bushings and a stainless steel ball for longevity. Each joint is greasable via a mini grease nipple.

They should be able to fit an EM2, we've had them installed on our prototype DC5

Thanks

You can't, you have to get it from someone who has bought the SPC arms. Grey needed one. Ask him where he got his.
