Im riding Neuspeed sports
But, I want to switch to coilover. The ride with the springs still feels like ****, and constant knocking that I thought would be avoided with the spring. Im thinkin of goin Coilovers. Skunk2's. I might have to take it a lil ez on the bumps, but I do now anyways. Its just not low enough!
Now i want you opinions... Stick with the springs or coilover? I know alot of people are all against coilover unless its a full coilover. but thats $$ which i dont have at the moment.

Want coilovers? i got ground controls....really the only sleeved coilovers i would recommend.
Go with the Eibach Ground Control Coil-Overs. A buddy of mine just put them on his civic and they ride great! I used to have neuspeed springs and I know what you mean about the ride. I hated them and I saw very little handling improvements.

either get full coilovers or replace your shocks w/ koni or KYB or some other performance shock.
your ride will not really improve all that much with a sleeved coilover. all youll be able to do is adjust the ride height.

yea if your riding aftermarket springs on stock shocks your gonna have a way higher springrate and much more travel from the stock shocks thats why the ride sucks

Yah for real, if you dont have the $$$, for a full coilover setup ... DONT go for a sleeved coilover setup. There are just too many parts, for more knocking, clicking, grinding. If you not willing to drop the $2g's CDN for a full coilover set, what I'd suggest doing is just buying some aftermarket Tokico Blue Struts ... think the cheapest and good strut out there atm.
It really depends what your going for, and since you dont have any pics, I cant tell what your "going for". Since your name is Budget, I'll guess your just going for looks, of getting the nice clean stance. For this reason, I advocate getting the Tokico struts now to tie you over (stop the knocking atm). And when you have more $$$ to go for a full coilover if you really, really want it. But in reality, I think you'll be completely happy when you dont have the knocking with the Neuspeed Sport/Tokico combo.
I have priced out sleeved coilovers and compared them to full coilovers, and they aren't much different, albeit the full setup is of course more expensive. From what I understand with a sleeved coilover, your still going to need to change your factory struts, or the knocking sound will most likely continue, or if not, they will eventually blow.
Either way, the Tokico's would be a good choice to switch to. Koni are way more expensive, and are not full struts (rather inserts) in the front, which I'm not to fond of, even though everyone says they are the best. Cuttin into my front factory struts and re-using the housing, to me sounds like a problem waiting to happen.
