Good non-performance strut replacements?

I can't find any reviews of the KYB GR-2 struts, and all the old discussions I've found focus on performance and/or lowering. My suspension is totally blown. I have to take speed bumps at around 1 mph to avoid seriously loud rear suspension noise and bottoming out. I was just wondering if the GR2s will restore a good ride quality and be semi-durable?

Any comparisons between the KYBs and Tokico HP for durability and ride quality?

I read somewhere that you have to modify the Tokikos knuckle bolt size 2mm larger in order to install them on your car. Is this tru? I thought it was a perfect bolt on. Anyone knows??

If you have a 03+, they need to be modified. I beleive the Tokico might be making ones for the 03+. give them a call. The 01-02 have 14mm mount bolts while the 03+ have 16mm.

I have stock RSX Type-S suspension bolted on Civic knuckles...New, a little bumpy, then began to be soft after about 10k....It's pretty comfortable now(I can say a lot better than stock Civic's ride quality)

Would the problem be solved by simply increasing the hole to 16 mm or do I need to modify them even more? I'm asking cause I plan to get them by the end of the month.

I have KYB GR-2 on my non-7thgencivic. I think they are a good OEM replacement. Maybe slightly firmer. They are not high performance by any means.
