How many people have noises???
i know this has been covered before, but. i cant figure out how to fix it. when i turn my wheel i hear clunking. how many people have this problem and what is the correct solution to fix it? really annoying.

mine does it also, i have tein s. techs. i don't really notice it anymore though. i think its just because i don't pay attention to it anymore

mines does the same **** and its not even drop I took it to the dealer yesterday to see what the hell could that be and the guy said that my front suspension might be loose and they aint fix it cause I had a strut bar there they said that thats aftermarket so he cant touch it, so now tomorrow I gotta go to the shop where they install my stock suspension and see whats up.

Try using WD-40 or Lithium grease. I have Ground Control coilovers and I used to have clanking...WD-40 made everything quiet.

i dont have any coilovers or anything like that , but lately when driving on the freeway i hear a noise coming from the driver side wheel hub, not sure what it is wahtever , so i may just have to take it in and be like here fix it.

Alot has to do with how your struts were re-assembled if you put in aftermarket springs. You may not have your upper mount, upper spring perch lined up correctly with the hole on the lower spring perch. Here's a couple of pics of what I mean. See the two triangles on the top parts? Those triangles must line up with the hole circled in red below.


Thats one way to do it. The other way is by using the yellow paint marks. Which is the correct way? Hell I dunno.. I tried both ways and each worked fine. Also remember to seat the spring in properly both on top and bottom and preload the suspension a couple of inches with a floor jack before tightening up the top mount nuts and lower knuckle bolts. If you dont your steering wheel might not be centered. At least thats what helped re-center mine. Good luck.

i think there should be a sticky thread on here covering the noises. this topic is gone over almost every weak. some one write up a good thread with the most information they found on here and make it a STICKY!
