To the people who have clanking and popping in their suspension, try lubing your suspension with WD-40. I have Ground Control Coilovers that clanked and popped and squeaked when I turned. All I did was lube the hell out of the front and rears (all parts except the spring itself) and to my suprise, no more clanking(front) or squeaking(rear). I would recommed trying this before you order 01 uppermounts or spring isolators, it may solve your problem.
i tried that but the clanking and clunking came back after few miles. i didnt put on shitloads but an large amount. im thinking about using grease and heard it works much better than wd-40 since wd-40 doesnt last as long as grease.
i didnt know the rears also made noise? =\

When I said shitload, a meant a good amount (not excesive)
Its been 3 days and still no clanking.
My rears sqeaked a little but the oil fixed that
From my understanding and readings on the board, the reason why it squeaks (esp the front) is that the suspension tries to turn when you turn the steering wheel. Also, the suspension should not move at all when you turn the wheels. Having said that, you are only making the suspension turn smoother when you turn the wheels.
By making the suspension turn smoother along with the steering wheel, you are only making the cause of the problem (suspension turning with the wheel) easier with your hearing.
Sure the clanking or squeaking is gone, but has the problem (suspension turning along with the steering causing it to make noise) been resolved by lubing?
I believe that lubing is only a quick-fix but to really address the problem, 01 upper mount should be used to make the rubber bushing seat properly.

The rear squeeks (most likely) because of yer upper control arm joints. That was the problem (or annoyance) with my old EM2.
The front pops because you messed with the geometry of the suspension (NOT what it was designed for) It's annoying, but I never had a problem with it.
(^^^OVER simplified version)
Makes me laugh when people expect to "slam" the car and have it feel/drive/sound just like it did when it was stock. What people don't realize is that, if Honda designed the car to be dropped...it would have come dropped from the factory....but it didn't. Honda put TONS of man-hours into the R&D of the suspension, and people think they can mess with it for a day and some $150 springs, and get it right? Nope...lol...it's gonna take a bit of effort to get the suspension where you want it.
BTW...use grease, WD-40 is BAAAD for parts as it promotes corrosion (sp?). Every time I've used it on something metal, the damn thing ends up rusting or even breaking (mostly bolts, etc.). Grease the fockers (if you want a quick fix) and don't worry about it....it's a Honda! lol

Alright I will use Lithium grease in the future. I doubt using WD-40 for one time will cause any damaged. I'll wipe most of it off next weekend and put some Lithium grease on instead.
