Exclamation Air Intake blocks Upper Strut Bar!

Hey, I have this short Ram air intake and it sits higher than those cold air intakes (pics soon) and now I don't think an upper bar will fit. Dang, I wanted an upper bar too. Any ideas?? Unless the bar goes behind the intake pipe, I'd have to almost try it to see if it fits...

Anyone have a short Ram and upper strut bar with pics I can see??

have you looked at the FAQ? It tells you which ones fit with CAIs. The Neuspeed and DC sports one will fit with almost any intake. Almost everyone will say neuspeed. They should fit but if we don't have a pic of you SRI then we can't tell you.

No, I didn't sorry. I'll check that. I have to submit a pic so you know what I mean. My intake pipe is different than the pics I just saw from Gotti. His pipe kinda tapers down almost like a cold air intake where mine is more straight across. You'll see... Let me post some pics tomorrow.

Um Gotti, you don't even have the bar? I am not seeing it.

if your intake bends 90 degree's to the left of the tb and comes out like that, ur fine....

if your intake goes up, then makes a hump and bends down (aem etc), then ur limited to dc and neuspeed

The neuspeed bar sits all the way in the back almost touching the plastic piece.

The neuspeed should fit. You can also undo the metal clamp around the connector on the throttle body and shift the intake more forward. DC sports sucks. Go neuspeed.

Ok, thanks for the feedback. My last question... I hope...

Does the bar make any real difference when driving. I mean, can you tell it's there? I know some of these mods are useless (just like my intake) in terms of performance but I've always read that the suspension parts are probably some of the best mods. Is this true? Do they really make that difference you can feel?

Thanks again!

When I first got the neuspeed bar put on, Right when I drove off the lot, I felt it right away. The front was more stiff. But after awhile, you wont even know its there. I guess to say after driving alot, things will seem normal. It is worth it though, it helps with handling.

Well, I drive a lot! I already have almost 84k on this 2002. I am in IT work and I travel around all day for my company and they make me use my own car so the miles add up quick.

I notice our cars kinda roll into corners and it almost feels like you have to hang on tight or you'll flip over! Now, I don't drive that crazy but when going on an overpass on the highway doing 60mph in a turn, you really feel the car struggle and roll. I hate that. I am hoping the suspension parts prevent some of that.

Any good suspension part will out perform most other performance parts for our car. Suspension is the best bang for the buck, at least in my mind.
