man, its just a totally different ride from my Teins. I wasnt lowered NEAR as much tho.

Im probably right around 3.5", i was maxed out on Tein SS which is only like 2.25 or some ****.

Plus the roads around here SUCK and i notice it ALOT more here but still, i am embarrased when people ride in my car. Im guessing its just less shock travel room and thats why...

mine doesnt bounce around, but it makes alot of noise when i hit bumps (like someone else already said). IM lowered about 3 inches all around. Also my back end creaks like a ****. Or maybe my back tires are rubbin....i dunno!

my friend has B&Gs on his integra and he is really low.... no finger gap with his stock 15s and his ride is bouncy. My car rides a lot smoother with my TeinSS being lowered almsot all the way with my 19s then his tegra with stock 15s and B&Gs.

So basically I dont think its cuz you're lowered all the way....... just the suspension itself isnt as stiff as the Teins were. its a guess though

Remember tho, I had Tein SS and even lowered all the way I had fingergap... Its a huge ride height difference Im at now...

But yeah- I just wish the damn Teins went lower!

Hmmmm....so what's your thought about the B&G's now? I have a set coming in this Thursday and I also ordered the 01 upper mounts. I always heard great reviews about them til now.

2K2: why dont u try raising them up and then go for a drive? U cant expect a great ride quality being 3 inches lowered. Its just not gonna happen. Either u raise it up and have some gap, or keep it slammed. Still my ride isnt near as bouncy as it was with neuspeed sports. Its rough but not bouncy.

So other than the bouncyness, there's no other complaints about them as far as ride quality and handling?

^not from me...handles much better than before, and like i said before my ride isnt bouncy at all. My car settles after a bump in one bounce, where as before with neuspeeds it would take 3 rebounds. They go really low also so you can choose between looks and ride quality.

Thanx Big Baller. That's what I wanted I wanted to hear before I got them in. I plan on sititng pretty low too next year after I get my new wheels. For now, I think just a little drop would be good enough. Fall is right around the corner and next thing you know its winter again.

^anytime. For the price i was super happy (work discount), and even for retail its a good price for a nice set of coilovers. Atleast they fit unlike hayames, and arent that much more expensive. Good luck with everything!
2k2: id suggest raising up like 2 inches to just compare the ride. Dont stay too long cuz ur alignment will be off, but give it a try and see.

Yeah I just had an alignment about a month ago so I dont wanna go changing the ride height and messing it up.

I dunno, maybe I have the wrong definition of bouncy and stiff. I have never ridden in a car with just springs or sleeved coilovers before so I dont know, I have only been lowered on Tein SS and now B&G's...

As far as raising it up permanantly- no way! I want to go lower it just isnt possible

Haha- guess I can live with it like this.

mine was lowered all the way to the max, i didnt like the bouncyness and grinding so i raised to a little over a finger gap and its much better, i was also on 18s when i put my stock tires and rims on it is really smooth

now though i am noticing a weird clunk noise in back passanger side and noted some grease buildup on the coilover unit
do u think that i blew the shock??? i hope not

I've had mine on since april and I don't bounce at all and I'm down more than 3 inches. If you are bouncing a lot you may want to consider your sprung and unsprung weight.

I keep my car light in the rear end by not filling the tank with more than a half tank and also by ditching the rear seats; i only use the car for myself and my girl sometimes. That saves more gas and keeps the rear end off the ground.

I have 17s that weigh about 40 lbs with tires and they make the car handle better but make the ride bouncy over rough road because of the large amount of sprung weight. When I am running my arospeed rs-gt's which are about 35 lbs with rubber, the ride is never bouncy and the wheels always maintain contact with the road.

As far as the rear end creaking, you need a tie bar to cure that. Or more lube if its not the frame twisting. A rear strut bar never hurt, especially for 20 bucks on ebay.
