Isn't the driver's side front spring slightly longer in order to compensate for the car being heavier on that side? Someone on this site mentioned that to me a while ago...

They're gonna be the same length so the car rides evenly. To compensate for weight distribution, one may have a higher spring rate than the other so it takes more weight to move it the same distance... but they should be equal length. I've never seen springs marked left or right.

my stock springs had some marks on them, a blue and green splotch of paint on one, and a single green splotch on the other, does that mean anything?
