That person could have a lower profile tire. Teins won't fill the wheel gap of a 195/50-15 but B&Gs will.

I have stock size tires and I can tuck WELL over an inch. The Tein specs say they lower something like 4" at max.

Believable. Those type of full coilover systems (JIC, Hayame to name a few) will fill the wheel gap if you're running stock sized tires or equivalent to stock for a different sized wheel. However, if someone were to run a low profile 15, nope. Big gap.

Did your stock part suspension fit well on the B&G's when you installed them?

thanks.

Nevermind, I found Mex's post:

I made this page after discovering why I was getting noises with my B+Gs-- a problem on my part, not reusing the stock bearing ring. other than my mistake, these coilovers are holding up amazingly well, and I would recommend them to anyone.

<plug> Mid Atlantic meet in one week!! </plug>

btw, you dont ABSOLUTELY have to use the 2001 bearing ring and upper mount.. I still have them installed on my 2002 bearing ring and they're holding up just fine. but if you have the money, using the 2001 bearing ring will allow the spring cap to sit flush.

sorry if I confused anyone.
Mex, did you send that page to B&G? Just wondering.
