I can honestly say that handling is well improved considerably with just the lowering of the car and a good set of tires. You can feel the difference better than just riding on a stock tires/suspension and strut bars. My co-worke, who has a 17" 215/45-17 on stock suspension with neuspeed x-brace and front strut bar, was so happy the way his car handles the corner, but not until I gave him ride to my suspension and wheels/tires set-up. I guess OEM car vs OEM with strut bar will have a bit of difference. OEM car with aftermarket suspension and wheels/tires combo, is amazing!

Neuspeed rear swaybar and end-links should be my next upgrade.

edit: I'll buy me a $30 front strut and see how much difference it could make, if any.

This is true, but just wait till you drop a strut bar on there too.

On a related note, I took off my rear upper strut bar yesterday in preparation for my coilover install tonight - the bar was originally a pain to put on so I didn't want any surprise issues on removal tonight. The ride is noticably looser. Not as bad as if I'd removed my front strut bar instead, but I'm scared to take quick turns right now.
Could also be that I've fugged up the threads on my rear struts and they're only held on by one nut each instead of two, LOL.

that could be it

Okay, I'll get me the upper rear strut bar as well. That should cost me $60.00 for front and rear.
