you're going to need to find away to keep the brake lines up front from moving around. use a tie rod or something. there were also problems with people getting the rsx struts instead of the em shocks. otherwise i have not had problems with it.

Some people's hayame's had the springs mixed up with the rsx's springs. As far as i know this issue has been fixed. Also the rear does not drop a full 4" like the advertisement says. I believe the rear drops somewhere around 2.75. Finally some people have reported poping noises while turning the wheels at slow speeds. I believe this issue is related to installation problems, but it does not seem to effect reliability. Anybody out there that knows more than this... feel free to correct me. hope this helps

Yes. Go get them while they lasts. Or wait another 45days before you can get a hold of one.

villiman? talk about butchering a screenname j/p...
problem you might run into with the 6kg/8kg is height issues. since they're stiffer your car might sit higher...
and yeah go with urbanimport... their customer service is awesome

the front you probably still wont have any problems dumpin it down to like 3" but the rear is a different story... its hard to give an estimate, i'd say like 1.5" though. but yeah dont quote me on it. you can always take off the preload to drop it another inch though but yeah the ride isnt going to be as good...

as for my d2's.. they're awesome... they ride nice even with my 18s. and i just got new tires up front and woah tires make a HUGE difference in ride quality.

so the stiffer springs werent really a wise choice then? i dont really mind the ride quality, i like a stiff ride anyways. i just want it to be able to handle excellent, and have no wheel gap. i got 215/43/17. i heard that this new batch of hayames they sent over were changed some so that there were no problems in the rear. hopefully it will all work out alright then.

And if you do drill to make the holes bigger for the tie-rod, will you take measurements on the inside diameter?

we all much appreciate it

ok, i'm one of the people who doesn't know much about these coilovers. i've heard some really good things about this product. right now i have a 1.5" drop with my neuspeed sports. if i get the hayames, i will not need my lowering springs anymore, correct? but would i need anything else with the hayames? i'm thinking of dropping it 2" with my 17" wheels. i have an 01 lx. thanks for any help you guys can provide.

aaaaaaah, everyone is so confusing, first hayames are good, then they are okay, then they suck, then they are okay, then they are good. . hmmm i guess its just everyone's own opinions. I'm gonna just have to conclude that they are just average coilovers that suits an average person's needs right? I mean they are reliable right? I really want to lower my car, and coilovers are the best choice, so if I have an '04 civic ex coupe, what is the best version and application of hayames for my car? V.1? V.2? Civic application or rsx application?

Yes you can say they are avg. Just like what VNlilMAN said....don't expect a good drop or a nice ride with hayame. Also a few had problem with a loosen front. If you have extra money laying around get the d2/b&g/tein SS. Or if you are happy with your springs(drop/ride) just change the shocks with tokico.

They're good for the price, but you get what you pay for, keep that in mind. I for now am quite satisfied with my hayames, but if I'd had another few hundred bones I'd grab the D2's or B&G. Ah well, maybe next year.

so it doesn't improve the ride quality like i read it would? can someone help me out? i just need my ride to be smoother. i'm happy with my drop from my lowering springs but i desparately need to improve the ride quality. i'm tired of having to slooooow down for railroad tracks and small bumps. what would be the best way to improve my ride? should i get the hayames or should i get replacement shocks? what brand of shocks and how much is the best one? thank you for everyones help.
