car shakes

i recently took off my 17's to put the factory rims on for like 3 days.. then i put on the good rims again.. only now instead of them driving good like before, once i get above like 50 the front two tires starts to shake. i had them taken in for a balance, and they were perfectly balance.. should i get a front end alignment??? or maybe do i have to re-ajust the camber again???

Xenin is an unknown quantity at this point
do you have hubcentric rings? that might help. i had the same problem with a pair of steelies i got but i returned them for the reason that they vibrated.

It's NOT the alignment. Wheel alignment cant cause vibration. Xenin idea sounds more likely. That or whom ever is doing your balacing dont know what they are doing. As for readjusting the alignment, it too wont change by taking your tires off, on, off, and on again.

well damn cause now i'm mad as hell that the car is doing what it does, and hasen't done that before i took them off... maybe is it the wheel bearings??? cause i remember in my other car ( a grand am). i used to have to change the wheel bearings all the time... and if so how hard of a job is it to do it myself?? i changed my other ones in my other car real fast.. but is this one different?? and how much are the parts.

Swap the front wheels to the rear on the same side and test drive. If the vibration goes away or to the back of the car, its a balance issue. Sometimes it can be a bad tire that can cause a vibration and other things.

Take it back to whom did the last balance or if there is a warranty on the tires take them back and tell them to balance or replace

Just a question, but Do you have stock Rotors? because they may not be balanced.... and cause a bit of that vibration.

You can rotate directional tires from side to side, but you'll have to get them unmounted and remounted on the wheels. Pain in the *** for sure. Now that you know that its one of the front wheels, either go get them re-balanced or try to figure out what wheel it is by swapping one side only. Then get that shiz fixed.
