How many ppl got.....

How many ppl in here have stock shocks with aftermarket springs? how long have you had them until they got messed up? My shocks are getting pretty messed up right now, so I was going to get stock shocks and put aftermarket springs. Is that a good idea? Or should I not do it? Thanx.

i have stock shocks with tein s-tech springs... i've been fine so far (they been on for about a week), and i've put about 500-600 miles on them so far... some people here might tell you to get some koni yellows or something.. iono.. depends on how much money you have, i guess...

i have stock shocks on skunk2 coilovers for about 4000-5000 miles now. i THINK(never really jacked up the car to check the pressure) one of my front shocks blew out due to driving 60mph over a sewer pothole with 4 people in the car. i live in an area where roads are pretty decent and not rough. i try to remember roads and take the shortcut/longer way to places to survive the stock shocks until i can get my hands on hayames

the ride quality is bouncy when your going at a fast pace and when your exiting a speed bump, it bounces a little. but thats no problem to me because i dont care about ride quality, but i do care about my car because it costed a lot of money (to me). with springs, i heard it was more better of a ride then coilovers. its all how you drive your car with springs.. good luck

I had progress springs with my stock shocks for a while and I blew both fronts and the rear is probably gone to but it doesn't matter since i just picked up some Teins. I will never do SPRINGS and stock shocks again, ride sucks.

When I first installed my Eibach Sportlines I drove on stock struts for over a year without any problems.

I blew my front shocks, but they got even more f*cked up when my 500something pound friend sat in front man I was crying in the inside so just imagine how my car was feeling.... Imma order the whole suspension for car but is all stocks so I dont know if I should use my aftermarket springs with the stock shocks or just put everything stock back and save some money and get a good aftermarket suspension, what u guys think I should do? rite now I have eibach springs but they are cut so those are going to the trash I have a set of sprint springs in my room should I sell those or keep them?

i have neuspeed sport with stock shocks. ive had them on for about a year now. the ride is a bit bouncy, but not as bouncy as w/ stock. ride is very harsh when there are breaks/potholes/anything in the road. roads in nj suck!! but my shocks are not blown as far as i know.

im hoping they last until fall because thats when ill be changing back to stock because the car goes back in december. (lease will end finally!!)
