stability issues

i searched and read the faq, can't find anything. At higher speeds my car 02 ex coupe seems to be somewhat unstable. Like it floats side to side somewhat, I have stock suspension and want to upgrade to fix this. Any ideas on what would help this and overall handling?? Thanks for any input and ideas.

what do you mean it floats from side to side? Does it go to one side or both? I would suggest getting an alignment. If it feels like it is floating then the toe maybe pushed out.

At higher speeds
Define this.

Some of the floating is due to the MacPherson Struts. Just by nature they tend to do that.
You can add reinforcement bars, change sway bars, get stiffer springs, etc... and get some help out of it, but the struts will still make the car wander a little. Better tires also help and the road surface makes a big difference in this too.

It started to do it after my blown shocks were replaced and an alignment were done. It happens at speeds over 60 up to 90 around 100 it doesn't do it. it doesn't pull to one side it just feels loose. And I put on new tires too
