How Can I adjust My Teins
i just installed my teins and i love it but the thing is when i put them on the back is lowered with no finger gap but the front looks exactly the same as it was really high!!
so the question is.......the car is lowered by adjusting the little rings right?
so when you adjust them do you have to bring the rings upwards or downwards to make the car go lower....right now the rings in the front are almost all the way up, is that the way they are supposed to be so my car can go lower???
the back shocks are set in the middle so i have no clue wether setting the rings up or down on what it will do.
please help i know this must be a stupid question but i searched and cant find anything on this kind of question...only thing i found was people keep asking if tein is good or not.
i would greatly appreciate any replies thank you.

To lower the car the locking rings have to go down to raise the car the locking rings have to go up.
Mind you Tiens are not really meant for show, they are meant for performance so they will not go as low as other coilovers on the market.
A good idea is to hose them down once a month with a pressure washer just to keep the threads clean.

thanx for the reply i really appreciate it.
the guy at the place where they put my tains on said to lower the car the rings have to go up so he put them all the way up.
i guess iam going to have to bring them rings down tomorrow myself with a jack and the lock keys.
thanx.

No no no no......I do not know where that guy got that idea from but he is wrong.
When the Tiens are at their highest ride height it only lowers the car by 1.1 inches in the front and 1.18 inches in the rear.
When they are at their lowest ride height it lowers the car by 2.69 inches in the front and 3.77 inches in the rear.
I am not sure why the rear when it is at the lowest and highest setting sits lower than the front, it should be higher.
