lOr at least I think that is what it is. I am hearing the sound more and more as I continue to drive, especially when I brake. If I put my foot on the driver side of the car with the door open and push down and my spring goes down. However, when the spring comes back up it makes this thud of some sorts like it is resisting and it just pops under the weight if that makes any sense. I had a fender bender there where a car hit me but it wasn't bad. Honda was going to charge me $2000 dollars to replace the parts but a local mechanic would do it for $1200 by reusing and bending the parts that he could. I know this is cause of the sound but I am not sure it’s the spring either. I am curious if anyone has the same problem or knows if it is serious? I am going to take it back to where I got it fixed at but I would like to try to understand what is going wrong. Thanks for reading all of this bs .
