roll cage

anyone know if they make bolt on rear section roll cages for the EM2? if so where can i get it? i saw one on optauto.com but not sure if its a bolt on or weld on.

i think its a bolt on too, but the thing is it didnt say that it is a bolt on so i didnt want to assume haha =P

autopower makes a cage for us, its only a half cage, so do be legal for wheel to wheel racing you'll need to 1. weld it in and 2. add door beams as well as a front section (I'm pretty sure autopower makes that stuff too)

Took me a while to find it, as its covered in the stock rules rather then STS..


"Roll bars and roll cages may be added (see Appendix C). It is strongly recommended that they be constructed according to Section 18 of the current GCR. Roll bars may be welded. Roll cages must be bolted, not welded, into the automobile and within the driver/passenger compartment. A roll cage has more than four attachment points to the body or frame, or has bracing both fore and aft of the main hoop."

Rules can be found here...They are slightly out dated (2002) but most of it still applies
