Neuspeed Sport Springs...CAMBERS?
Neuspeed Sport Springs...CAMBERS?
Ok, I'll have to post some pix on this but...I installed the Neuspeed Sport Springs, and full Koni Adjustable Shocks and Struts on my 2k3 Civic. I love the drop etc and I installed the neuspeed rear sway bar, rox! I noticed the rear tires are angled in on the top a lil, I was wondering if anyone else did the same install and had the same effect. If so....do I need to do a camber kit? Or is this how it's supposed to be. I wasnt sure if you only needed a camber kit if you did the Neuspeed Race Springs. Please help me out.
Also, I have that lil popping noise in my front end when i turn hard to the right. Im assuming I didnt line up the correct marks. Is this simple to fix?
But if you can help me out with the Camber issue, let me know. Also, should I get an Alignment. This is the first time the wheels have been off the car, and there was no points that I could see that could be adjusted in an alignment, so let me know if one will be beneficial. Thanx

Also, my rear tires had hardly any wear, so...is this going to put alot of wear on my rear tires if i dont do a camber kit, and will it hurt my car? Just want to make sure this is how it is supposed to come out.

Read the suspension FAQ. It is in my signature. You should have bought a Camber kit. And before you ask what ones are the best, they are SPC and ingalls and no it doesn't matter what one. Yes you should get an alignment after you get the camber kit installed. Yes it is a good idea to get both front and rear camber kits. It won't hurt anything but your tires. And yes the rears will camber more than the fronts.
Check to make sure all the bolts are tight, especially the tie rod bolts to help with that popping noise.
Please read all of the FAQ for lowering basics.
