Cant Adjust Koni Rear ****

i have a coupe and i cant adjust the settings for the rear shocks the **** is to fat and the compartment where the **** goes on is smaller than gary coleman can someone please help me... thanks

are you using the right ****, there are 2 of them, one is used to adjust the front struts, the other is used to adjust the rear struts.

yeah actually there both the same size ***** and the little metal part sticking out is the same its just cramped in there what can i do ?

I had the same problem. The sheetmetal is in the way so you cant get the **** on correctly. Since its only sheetnmetal thats not critical to the integrity of the body I just bent it enough to allow me to get the **** on. I havnet had any problems. BTW mine came with a shorter shank **** for the rears then front *****. But it still required me to bend the metal some.

they are an allen key correct? Find an allen wrench the same size and use that. It will fit for sure. .

my koni installer cut the rear ****.. kinda like a triangle shape... the right side still is a bit hard to manuever.. but it's the only solution unless you use pliers or something..

That's what I did...and I now have PLENTY of room...don't worry, you're not going to do any SERIOUS damage, unless you use a friggin' SLEDGE HAMMER, lol.

all you have to do is like fattymcj syed just hammer the cheetmetal back till it fits i had to do that and i bet almost everyone that gets koni has to do that if they want to use there ****.by the way there is a short *** for the back and a longer one for the front.

man i didnt know there werre 2 different sized ***** i assumed they were the same never noticed the length

Hahahaha same here I never noticed they weren't the same except one day I adjusted them and the next day I tried again but took the other **** and there was NO WAY it would fit I was like "WTF!?!" that's when I pulled out the other one and noticed the difference

I hammered the sheetmetal tab out of the way too
